On day four of the fourth Ashes Test at Old Trafford, Manchester, England somehow managed to escape follow on, but Australia’s bowling as well as the batting department ensured that the team gets a step closer to take 2-1 lead into the five-match series.

Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins bowled extremely well to restrict England to 301 which gave visitors a lead of 196 runs. Now, when Aussies came out to bat in their second innings, Steve Smith once again stood up for the task as he managed to get 82 runs after scoring a double century in the first innings.

The score of 82 is by far his lowest score in this Ashes where he has 671 runs in five innings averaging 134.2. He is the highest run getter in the series even after missing a match and an innings due to concussion.
